Suggested video on Public Key Encryption [10/10]
Public key cryptography: What is it? [10/10]
    https://www.khanacademy.org/computing/computer-science/cryptography/modern-crypt/v/diffie-hellman-key-exchange--part-1 [10/10]
Public key encryption works as a one way function, it is easy to encrypt but hard to de-encrypt if you are not the part involved. It works as if two parties agree on a color publicly and select one color privately, they then mix those colors, and they swap the colors then add their private color to the other person’s mixture of colors. By doing this they both come to the same color hence public key cryptography. [10/10]

    Newton’s first law of motion
Thought it would be interested, and a topic that I could expand on later. [10/10]

Galileo and Descartes described the first law before newton, but he gets most of the credit due to his other work. [10/10]

    http://www.khanacademy.org/computing/computer-science/cryptography/comp-number-theory/v/what-is-computer-memory---prime-adventure-part-7 [10/10]
Something interesting I learned was that memory is stored in the form of numbers using what is called a BIT ( Binary Digits). They are powerful in terms of storage because as you put more together then the amount of unique states grows significantly. Eventually they could be as small as an atom or possibly smaller but technology isn’t that far yet. [9/10]
    Economic Growth Through Investment
I picked this video due to the fact that what is being discussed in the video can be applied in today's world especially so it would be beneficial to learn more about it. [9/10]
    http://www.khanacademy.org/economics-finance-domain/microeconomics/choices-opp-cost-tutorial/production-possibilities/v/economic-growth-through-investment [10/10]
What I found interesting was that the production possibilities frontier can be adjusted by choosing a particular way to of investment which in turn will produce more capital generally if done well. So basically investing instead of just consuming will lead to economic growth. [9/10]
    Self-evaluate. [9/10]
    Your total score = [97/100]

    • Everything we do in our lives relates to whether we reach self-actualization. Esteem, love, and safety are all big factors of our self-acutalization. Self-actualization is the best a person can be, this includes our way of thinking and the way we act. Not many people can actually reach self- actualization. (9/10)
    • Conformity and groupthink (10/10)
    • I chose the second video because Conformity is peer pressure which everyone, especially high schoolers, can relate to. (10/10)
    • https://www.khanacademy.org/test-prep/mcat/behavior/social-psychology/v/conformity-and-groupthink (10/10)
    • It’s normal for people to act differently with a certain group of their friends than with another group of friends. Ex: training a dog. With one group you use a shock collar on the dog because you trust their better judgement, when in reality it’s not the way to train the dog which you would know had you been with a different group of friends. (9/10)
    • Self Evatuation (10/10)
    • Total score (98/100)

    Empires before World War I

    https://www.khanacademy.org/humanities/history/euro-hist/world-war-I-tutorial/v/empires-before-world-war-i

During the video one aspect that I learned about WWI empires is that there was an empire in southern Europe just above Greece. The Croatia Slavonia Empire was an Empire that controlled all of the countries above Greece in southern Europe. Even though it was a sizable empire it only lasted a few years before it disbanded.

Alliances Leading to World War I

I chose to watch this video because I am interested in history and have a prior knowledge of the topic of WWI. In addition I Thought it would be an easier topic to explain and write about.

    http://turtoncompapps2014-15.blogspot.com/2014/09/quiz-2-self-interest-video-kahn-academy.html

One interesting aspect I found with the video was that in 1889 England and Belgium signed the Treaty of London which prevented any hostility between the two nations.
